Trey joined West Financial Services in January of 2018 and has experience working with high net worth individuals, institutional investors, non-profits, retirees, and investors who are at the beginning of their path to financial freedom.
Trey’s primary responsibilities as portfolio manager include portfolio review, analysis, and implementing investment recommendations. This entails understanding a client’s needs, wants, and wishes in order to create an investment portfolio tailored to their circumstances. To that end, he enjoys the financial planning process as it involves a broader conversation, encompassing not only the investment portfolio but all aspects of financial life.
Originally from Danville, Virginia, Trey graduated from Virginia Tech where he completed the CFP® Certification Education Program while earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and is pleased to be a fee-only fiduciary.
In his free time, Trey enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, watching the Hokies’ football team return to national relevance (hopefully), and almost any outdoor recreational activity.
