West Financial Services is excited to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Around the time of our founding in February of 1982, the U.S. economy was mired in a recession. Then Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker was using monetary policy to crush double digit levels of inflation. Also at that time, the price of a gallon of gasoline was just over one dollar, the S&P 500 traded around 120, and “Physical” by Olivia Newton-John was the #1 hit single.
