Investment Management – Second Quarter 2016
Investor fortitude was once again put to the test this past quarter as macroeconomic events complicated a shifting growth picture in the global economy. Specifically, it was the United Kingdom’s historic vote to leave the European Union. While the political and economic repercussions will take months if not years to play out, the fear impact was felt immediately.
While volatility is unnerving, the S&P 500 actually ended the quarter higher, and is up 3.84% year-to-date. That resilience is impressive.
