Navigating College Search in a Changing Landscape
At West Financial, we have clients and employees helping their teenaged children figure out next steps post-high school graduation. In our research, we have established a connection with Cozy Wittman, a national college search expert with College Inside Track.
Did you know that college is now the second largest purchase most families will make in their lives? However, the process is more complex and less transparent than it has ever been. COVID 19 and FAFSA changes that took place at the end of 2020 have increased these challenges. Last summer, Cozy shared with us what she has learned about the college search endeavor, and discussed various topics related to campus tours, scholarships, and entrance exams.
We are happy to welcome Cozy back on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. EDT, to expand on the conversation. We anticipate covering such topics as how the changes impact families with multiple children in college, divorced families, the differences between needs-based aid and merit aid, how to find real scholarships, and the role of SAT/ACT scores.
