Rodrigo (Rod) Huerta CIMA®
Rodrigo (Rod) Huerta, CIMA®, joined West Financial in August 2017 as a portfolio manager and in July 2023 transitioned to a relationship manager role. In April 2026, he was promoted to senior relationship manager. For more than two decades, Rod has held fiduciary roles in private banking and wealth management working with senior executives, retirees, board members, families and foundations to achieve their financial goals.
Rod graduated from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María in Santiago, Chile with a Master’s in Business Administration and a title of Engineer. He earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation from The Investments & Wealth Institute at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Rod is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute and has also achieved a certificate in financial planning from the University of Virginia. He is fluent in Spanish.
Rod lives with his wife, Elizabeth, and two sons in Burke, Virginia. They are avid world-travelers and love family trips to cultural destinations in the United States and overseas. The family also enjoys being active participants in their children’s sport activities.
