Matt joined West Financial Services in April 2021, serving as a client service associate performing administrative functions for clients and the firm. In November of 2023, he joined the financial planning team as an associate financial planner, helping develop complex financial plans and assisting 401(k) plan trustees. Prior to joining West Financial, Matt worked for an investment advisor specializing in 401(k) benefits for three years, as well as a business benefits consultant. Matt served on the board of Dulles Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) for a little over a year, recruiting sponsors for the group and generating ideas to better SHRM for future members.
Matt earned a BS in Finance from George Mason University, with a minor in International Business. He joined Alpha Phi Omega, a service fraternity dedicated to the principals of leadership, friendship, and service to one’s community, where he participated in a number of philanthropic events.
In his free time he enjoys rock climbing, reading, hiking the Shenandoah, and visiting the local farmers markets.
